Design for Change
Design for Change challenges students to develop and present 4-minute prototype pitches that address pressing industry and community challenges. Working in interdisciplinary teams, students design innovative solutions with both sustainable and economic impact, showcasing how STEM can drive positive change. The event highlights creativity, collaboration, and the role of students as future-ready problem solvers.

Start Talking
Start Talking is a storytelling and public speaking competition where students create a 4-minute video pitch tackling real-world challenges with social and sustainable impact. Through mentoring and workshops, students learn to communicate complex STEM ideas in clear, engaging ways for industry, policymakers, and the public. The showcase empowers students to build confidence, digital fluency, and professional identity while inspiring communities to take action.
